the CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2023 engineering machinery expo opened grandly in Las Vegas on March 14th.

Two new concept machines from Doosan Bobcat, the world's first fully electric skid steer loader S7X and new concept tracked loader RogueX, became the focus of attention at the exhibition, taking innovation to a new level.

Scott Park, CEO and Vice Chairman of Doosan Bobcat, said, "Doosan Bobcat is making great strides in innovation, exploring unknown areas, helping customers achieve more goals, and driving the industry forward. Doosan Bobcat continues to develop new machines to meet the ever-changing needs of customers, making them more efficient, productive, and successful."

The S7X is a fully electric wheeled skid steer loader launched after the T7X tracked skid steer loader. It is equipped with a 60.5 kWh lithium-ion battery, which produces incredible performance with its pure electric drive system, and its instant torque is three times greater than that of traditional loaders.

This powerful loader balances sustainability and performance with zero emissions, providing operators with a smooth and comfortable operating experience with minimal vibration and almost no noise. The S7X can work for up to eight hours with one charge, which is enough to meet the work demand for a whole day. It takes only 10 hours to fully charge when resting at night.

Joel Honeyman, Vice President of Global Innovation at Doosan Bobcat, said, "The S7X is an incredibly practical product that provides operators with better support in environmentally sensitive locations, noise-limited areas, and indoor operations."

RogueX combines advanced technology to make it a unique concept machine. Although it looks closest to a tracked skid steer loader, it is a new category of machine. This machine explores the concept that more work can be done in places where humans cannot reach through remote control.

Honeyman said, "The RogueX concept machine is designed with future workplaces and customer needs in mind. More emphasis is placed on usability, remote operation, autonomous functions, sustainable operations, and the ability to allow operators to complete more tasks on one machine."

By building a loader without a cab and using advanced kinematics, RogueX has unique next-generation features, including vertical and radial lifting capabilities for one machine.

RogueX is a zero-emission device that uses a lithium-ion battery and electric motor drive system, completely without a hydraulic system.

"After successfully developing a fully electric loader (Bobcat T7X), we wanted to think about bigger and broader issues and take a leap into the future," said Matt Sagaser, Director of Innovation at Doosan Bobcat. "Our dedicated innovation team took a bold approach and designed a machine that breaks all the rules. RogueX sets a framework for possibilities, and our team is just getting started on the next step."

In addition to these two highly innovative products, Doosan Bobcat also showcased four electric excavators, various models of skid steer loaders, tracked loaders, compact loaders, versatile tool carriers, telescopic boom attachments, and advanced attachments suitable for various working conditions.
